South Causey Inn Old Barn - Shauna and Joshua

Shauna and Joshua were married on a gorgeous sunny June day at South Causey Inn, with both their ceremony and reception taking place in the Old Barn. With blue skies, warm sunshine, and elegant styling throughout, the whole day had a relaxed and romantic atmosphere from start to finish.

The morning began with Shauna getting ready in the Hen House and Joshua in the Duck House on the South Causey estate before they met for the ceremony. Shauna’s lace A-line dress suited the feel of the day perfectly, and there were so many thoughtful personal touches throughout, including a creative wedding day newspaper for guests to read. Their little dog Kodi also made an appearance, which always makes a wedding feel even more personal. During the wedding breakfast, the surprise singing waiters completely changed the atmosphere in the room, getting guests singing, dancing, and laughing together.

As the evening celebrations got underway, Lady V Sax joined the first dance before leading everyone straight into the party. With live saxophone music, light-up sticks on the dance floor, and guests dancing all evening long, Shauna and Joshua’s wedding at South Causey Inn was such a fun one to photograph.

A Wedding at Healey Barn - Alice and Andrew

Alice and Andrew’s June wedding was the perfect mix of relaxed countryside style and romantic moments. Both spent the morning getting ready at Derwent Manor Hotel, tucked away in separate rooms before heading over to Healey Barn for the ceremony. With soft muted light throughout the day, everything had a calm, natural feel that suited the atmosphere perfectly.

Alice wore a simple sleeveless A-line dress with a slit in the skirt, which worked beautifully with the informal style of the day. After the ceremony, everyone gathered in the courtyard at Healey Barn to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, drinks, and sunshine breaking through the clouds. One of our favourite moments came just before the evening celebrations started, with Alice and Andrew sharing photos together beside the champagne tower.

The evening finished with a packed dance floor and a lovely father-daughter dance following the first dance, which was such a special moment to photograph. Alice and Andrew’s wedding was relaxed, stylish, and full of genuine moments from start to finish.

Jess and Tom were married on a lovely May day at Shortflatt Tower, with an outdoor ceremony in the grounds surrounded by the countryside and gardens. The weather was a mix of overcast skies and sunny intervals, which suited the relaxed feel of the day perfectly and gave everything that soft spring atmosphere.

Jess wore a simple long-sleeved dress that worked beautifully with the garden wedding style, and the whole day felt easy-going from start to finish. Rachel and Luke were married on a beautiful sunny day in May at South Causey Inn, with both their ceremony and reception taking place in the Old Barn. The whole day had a light, relaxed feel while still keeping an elegant style, helped along by the sunshine and lovely spring atmosphere around the venue.

Rachel’s lace fit and flair dress suited the day perfectly, and we made the most of the warm weather for some relaxed portraits outside with the two of them. One of the standout moments came during the wedding meal when surprise singing waiters appeared and quickly had the whole room laughing, singing, and joining in.

A Wedding at Newton Hall - Shauna and Dean

Shauna and Dean absolutely lucked out with the weather—one of those proper blue sky May days that lifts everything. From the moment we arrived at Newton Hall, there was a real buzz about the place. Big smiles, loads of laughter, and that kind of energy that tells you straight away it’s going to be a fun one.

After the ceremony, everyone headed outside for drinks, and things got properly fun. The crazy golf came out during the reception, which was such a good shout—it kept everyone moving, laughing, and fully in the moment. It made for some brilliant, natural photos and gave the whole afternoon a bit of a festival feel.

Later on, after dinner, we snuck away with Shauna and Dean to make the most of that golden hour light. First stop was the bluebell woods, which were looking amazing—proper spring colour everywhere. Then down to the beach, where the light softened off perfectly. Nothing too staged, just a wander, a bit of quiet time together, and some really relaxed portraits.

Then it was straight into the evening—first dance, a packed dancefloor, and a proper good party to finish things off.

Newton Hall Wedding - Steffi and Andrew

Late April really showed off for Steffi and Andrew’s wedding. Sunshine, blue skies, and that perfect in-between season where everything feels fresh again—it set the tone straight away for a really relaxed, easygoing day at Newton Hall.

Everything happened in one place, which always helps things flow nicely. No rushing around, no stress—just a laid-back morning that rolled straight into the ceremony. After they tied the knot, everyone spilled out into the grounds, and honestly, Newton Hall is one of those venues where you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to photos. Everywhere you turn, there’s another great little spot.

One of our favourite parts of the day was heading out around the grounds with Steffi and Andrew (and their dog, of course). Bringing your dog to your wedding is always a win in our book, and it added such a personal touch to the photos. We kept things pretty natural—lots of wandering, chatting, and just letting them enjoy a bit of quiet time together while we grabbed some relaxed portraits along the way.

As the day rolled on, it shifted nicely into party mode. With the sun dropping and everyone fully settled in, the evening had that proper fun, up-for-it vibe. Exactly what you want to round off a brilliant day.
