Beamish Hall - Daiana and Simon
Out of all of our couples who had to postpone their weddings due to the Covid Pandemic, none had to wait longer for their big day to come around than Daiana and Simon. Daiana and Simon were due to be married in March 2020. Everything was planned and paid for, all loose ends were tied, and only days away from the big day, the first lockdown happened and put a halt on everything. As soon as weddings were allowed again, they got married at the Durham registry office (with only 6 attendees, including us) but also continued with their plans for a larger event to celebrate with their family and friends. We have been on quite a journey together, planning and replanning, two weddings, and all of the ups and downs of changing dates. It was amazing to finally see them have the day that they deserved and it was wonderful to be there to photograph these two lovely people on both of their special days.

"We knew instantly that Chrissie and Nigel were the photographers for us. They are incredibly warm and friendly and their ease around us - and us with them - shines through in the photographs they took of our big day. The quality of their photos is amazing. They have an incredible eye for detail and to say that they work well as a team is an understatement. Having two quality photographers, who worked seamlessly together during our big day was a real joy. Chrissie and Nigel were incredibly supportive and accommodating throughout the challenging covid period. They were brilliantly flexible, accommodating a number of changes to dates and venues as various dates came and went. All in all, we couldn't recommend 2Tone Photography highly enough for their customer service, quality of photographs, value for money and general all-around helpfulness. They were great to work with.

Newcastle Cathedral and Beamish Hall - Sarah and Andrew
Sarah and Andrew are one of those couples who together just simply make sense. Sarah's grace, calmness and gentleness alongside Andrew's sense of fun and energy together become a perfect balance. It was a pleasure and an honour to get to know this great couple and to photograph their wedding day this spring.
They chose to be married in the Cathedral Church of St Nicholas in the heart of Newcastle. A place that we both ourselves are very fond of and have worked in many times before. It's wonderfully welcoming atmosphere is only elevated by the wonderful people who work there, Canon Kevin and of course the lovely verger, Ellie.
After the ceremony, we all headed over to Beamish Hall in the beautiful north county Durham countryside for their wedding reception. They enjoyed a wedding breakfast with all of their family and friends in the Monboucher Suite moving over to the Winter Gardens for their evening reception.
Here is a brief glimpse of their amazing wedding day.
