Newton Hall - Georgina and Richard
What a cracker this wedding was! In June, we travelled up to Newton Hall, a stunning Georgian coastal wedding venue in Northumberland for Georgina and Richard’s wedding. As we travelled up the A1, seeing the weather clear, thinking about the day ahead, and this awesome couple, we already knew it was going to be amazing.
We had the chance to get to know Georgina and Richard before the wedding and we all really hit it off. Their relaxed yet vibrant and fun personalities make them such an absolute joy to be around, and it was no different on their big day.
Newton Hall is a venue that we have visited many times before, its classic exterior and its quirky interior make it such a fun venue to photograph. Alone, the venue is perfect, but with the stunning beach close by, it just gets better and better. After dinner we headed out into the beach for some stunning portraits, the golden sunshine made for amazing evening light.
As always it was a pleasure to work alongside the very talented Janet and Chris from One Digital Image, Paul Lytton and of course Craig and the rest of the staff at Newton Hall.
Wow wow wow, what a day, and what a joy is was to be involved.
“Chrissie & Nigel are incredible photographers & captured our wedding day perfectly. They instantly make you feel at ease, you hardly notice them on the day & then they exceed all expectations when you see your images! We carefully considered many photographers across the North East for our wedding & we honestly couldn’t have chosen better.
Thank you for helping us relive our wedding day through the pictures, we laughed & cried looking over them. We will treasure them forever...”
The Ramside Hall - Lyndsay and David
Looking back at Lyndsay and David's wedding at the Ramside Hall Hotel at the end of May last year brings back thoughts of sunshine and light nights - and how I am missing those right now! It was a perfect day, spent with a fantastic couple who are warm hearted, have a seriously fun attitude towards life and are a laugh a minute - and for a couple who told me before hand they they were a little nervous about the romantic portraits, I think that they nailed it! They were a joy to work with and it was an honour to photograph their wedding.
They were married in their local church, St Cuthbert's in Seaham before heading over to the Ramside Hall Hotel in Carrville just outside of Durham. Here are a selection of their photographs that I feel really sum up the day.
Congratulations to you both and thank you for having us along! x
