Jane and Cem’s wedding at Runa Farm was a wonderful blend of rustic charm and boho vibes, perfectly suited to this beautifully renovated venue near Barnard Castle. Having previously visited when it was the Jersey Farm Hotel, it was impressive to see how the Apartment Group transformed it into one of Durham’s most sought-after wedding locations. Despite the rain that fell for most of the day, the variety of fantastic undercover spots meant we could capture stunning photos without a hitch. Their ceremony took place in the atmospheric chapel, adding a touch of magic to the occasion. Since they had legally tied the knot the day before, Cem’s brother was able to perform a heartfelt, personalized ceremony, making the day even more special. Their dog, Link, stole the show as the perfect ring bearer, adding a fun and personal touch.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks from a pineapple and contributed to a unique LEGO Minifigure guest book. Jane and Cem embraced the relaxed, boho vibe, making time for a few beautiful photos around the venue before heading back inside for heartfelt speeches and a delicious meal. The evening was filled with dancing, accompanied by a lively saxophonist, creating a fantastic party atmosphere. We wrapped up the day with a quick, romantic shot of the newlyweds in the rain, capturing a perfect ending to a truly memorable celebration. Jane and Cem were a joy to work with, and their day was as warm and vibrant as they are.
