Newton Hall - Rachel and Noah
We were back up north for Rachel and Noah’s wedding at Newton Hall. Newton Hall is a fun and quirky wedding venue right next to the coast in Northumberland and is always fun to photograph at. We first met Rachel when she was a bridesmaid for her friend Sarah whose wedding we photographed at Doxford Hall in 2017, so when she got in touch and asked us to be her wedding photographers, we were delighted. From day one we clicked, and quickly, it was like we were old friends. It was awesome to see these two kindred spirits tie the knot and celebrate their day with their family and friends. It was a wonderful day and a joy to photograph.
If you would like to see Sarah and Max’s wedding photographs at Doxford Barns, you can find them here.

“We have just returned from our honeymoon, and are absolutely blown away by the photos! We can’t thank you enough! They are absolutely stunning!! We truly can’t thank you enough for our pictures - they’re just amazing!” - Rachel and Noah.
Newton Hall - Emily and Kieran
Emily and Keiran were married on an unseasonally warm February day at Newton Hall in Northumberland. After all of the awful weather that we had been having, it made such a nice change to see the sun come out. After their ceremony, and a bit of a mingle with their guests, Emily and Keiran joined us for a walk around the grounds for a few pictures, along with a quick trip to the beach for a few more. It was a fabulous day with a fantastic couple.

“Thank you for doing such an amazing job with our photos, we love them so much. The email with our gallery came through while we were on a safari in Sri Lanka, so we had a cocktail overlooking the beach while looking through them. It was a moment we’ll never forget. Thank you again for being amazing on the day, we couldn’t have asked for anything more.” - Emily and Kieran.
Newton Hall - Denise and John
Denise and John chose to get married in one of Northumberland's most unique venues, the bold, romantic and fantastical Newton Hall. Filled to the rafters with style and character, quirky trinkets and statement pieces, it is a lot of fun to walk around and explore - and fun really was the word for the day. Our fun loving couple with their fantastic guests created a relaxed and informal wedding filled with laughs and happiness all around, it really was a great day to shoot and a joy to be involved.
A shorter day than normal for us, we met them both for their preparations at the hall, they were married in the beautiful glass house making full use of the surprisingly good weather (for march) with the folding doors flung open and looking straight out on to the grounds. After celebrating with their guests in the hall and a few pictures around the grounds, the four of us nipped off for a quick 10 minutes to the beach down the road before heading back to join their guests again for their wedding meal in the garden suite. Nige and I said our goodbyes and left them to enjoy the rest of their wonderful wedding day.
Here are a few of our favourites from their day.
