Beamish Hall - Rachel and Stephen

Rachel and Stephen’s wedding at Beamish Hall was a real treat. They opted for an outdoor ceremony in the stunning woodlands within the estate on what turned out to be a glorious sunny day. Their relaxed vibe and the stunning scenery effected everyones mood, it will be a wedding long remembered.

Beamish Hall - Joanne and Steve

Joanne and Steve chose Beamish Hall for their glorious early summer wedding day this year.  It was one of those days that the weather just couldn't make up it's mind.  Showers in the morning, crazy wind during their drinks reception, and some beautiful summer sun later, which made for some amazing portraits.  It was a day for fun and cheer, filled with love and wonderful moments and a joy to attend.

Wynyard Hall - Kim and Doug

Autumn. I have always loved it, but more so since becoming a wedding photographer.  The low sun gives us sublime light, and the trees and foliage burst into an array of wonderful colours.  An autumn wedding at a venue like Wynyard Hall, working with a great couple and a fantastic team of suppliers. what more could we ask for?

Kim and Doug were a dream to work with.  Kim was effortlessly elegant and Doug was quite the gentleman.  Their stylishly classic wedding naturally flowed throughout the day from Doug preparing in Kim's family home right through to their fab evening reception where even Doug's Grandad showed off his moves on the dance floor.  Personal touches such as Kim's sister singing during the ceremony and her brother using his skills as a graphic designer for the table details added something extra special to the day.  This wedding was made special for us too, having worked with two of Kim's siblings in the past, it was a real joy to join the family again for this, the third family wedding.

Ellingham Hall - Sarah and Stuart

Ellingham hall is one of my favourite venues for a wedding.  Oozing charm and elegance with so many great opportunities for beautiful wedding photographs with the stunning village church only a short walk away.  Sarah and Stuart chose that very same church not only for their wedding ceremony but also on the very same day also to baptise their baby son in front of all of their family and friends.  It was a truly stunning day filled with so much beauty and love.

Wynyard Hall - Rachel and Mark

Rachel and Marks wedding day last summer was such a treat for the eyes.  Set in the stunning Wynyard Hall in the Tees Valley, their day was filled with pretty details, elegance and style.  The boys opted to wear black tie for the occasion, while the girls chose pretty pastel shades, lace and delicate florals.  Their beautiful wedding cereony in the Brooks Chapel, within the Wynyard Hall estate was followed by a wedding breakfast in the hall's grand ballroom.  The walled garden made the perfect location for an after dinner stroll before they welcomed their evening guests for the evening do. It was wonderful to work with this great couple and a joy to be a part of their special day.

Lumley Castle - Amy and Craig

Earlier in the year we both found ourselves at Lumley Castle in Chester le Street for Amy and Craig's romantic summer wedding.  They were married in the Scarborough Suite after which enjoyed a wedding breakfast with their family and friends in the Barons Hall.  Here are a few of their images from their big day.
