South Causey Inn - Sarah and Dominic
“We just can't thank you enough for all of your help and support in making our wedding day so perfect. You both put us at ease before the ceremony and kept us right as you made sure the day ran smoothly. We had the most wonderful day and a lot of it was thanks to your help! We had such fun at the lake and was so nice to get some time together. It was such a great atmosphere throughout and I hope you enjoyed your day too despite being at work! Your creative energy is so inspiring and quite clear you also adore each other too. Thank you so much.” - Sarah and Dominic
Sarah and Dominic were married last September at their parish church, Our Blessed Lady Immaculate in Washington Village, afterwards heading over to the South Causey Inn to celebrate with their friends and family. They were both a joy to work with, their fun loving natures and love for the outdoors lead us to explore the nearby lake for some pictures of just the two of them. Choosing not to do everything by the book, they also skipped out on the traditional speeches and first dance, instead just enjoying themselves with those that they love. It was fantastic to spend the day with this awesome couple.
Here are a few pictures from their day.
South Causey Inn - Sophie and Dylan
Where to start with Sophie and Dylans’s wedding. Sophie is a photographer herself, which you may think would pile on the pressure, however not so. I had such fun discussing photo ideas with her before their wedding, and to make things easier for us all on the day, she made sure that she planned more than enough time for their couple shots, with time to spare.
They were married just around the corner from us, at the beautiful South Causey Barn, a few days before Christmas. It is a great venue with a relaxed, rural vibe which suited them perfectly. It was also great to see their gorgeous pooch Gus there with them on their wedding day too.
It was such a fun wedding to photograph, and with all of the extra fairy lights, we can home feeling very festive.
The South Causey Old Barn - Natalie and Daniel
South Causey Inn, being so close to us in Stanley is one venue that we visit frequently, however Natalie and Daniel's wedding was a first for us. The brand new 'Old barn', South Causey Inn's newley refurbished wedding venue, with it's wonderful decor and attention to detail was a treat to photograph within.
Natalie and Daniel were married just before halloween. The mid autumn season brought with it that stunning low sun that we love so much, and the drawn in nights presented us with a stunning pink/purple sunset.
South Causey Inn - Kayleigh and Craig
Kayleigh married her Craig on a beautifully clear and crisp winters day just two days before Christmas at the South Causey Inn in Stanley.
As the wedding co-ordinator for Lumley Castle, planning a wedding came naturally to Kayleigh. She already knew the best suppliers to contact for her own big day, all whom collaborated together to create a beautifully classic day with subtle festive hints and a wonderfully relaxed feel to the entire day. Kayleigh's stunning bespoke wedding gown was a creation from local wedding dress designer - the House of Mooshki while Craig opted for a smartly cut classic black suit and ivory cravat.
It was a beautiful day in a stunning countryside location with a really wonderful couple. Here are their pictures from their day...
