Wynyard Hall - Claire and Alastair

Claire and Alastair were married in the stunning Wynyard Hall in March this year.  The light was pastel and soft, the colours of spring were just starting to show which despite it still being rather cold added a sense of warmth to the scene.

Claire and Alastair chose rich cadbury purple and crisp white as their colour theme which was echoed in the flowers, bridesmaids dresses, table decor and also filled the conservatory as coloured light for their evening reception which looked wonderful and really gave the room a party atmosphere.

They were married in the Wynyard Hall's own chapel, going on to the huge statue gallery and ballroom to celebrate the day with their family and friends.

Redworth Hall - Lisa and Chris

It had been a little while since we had been to Redworth Hall and so we were thrilled when Lisa and Chris invited us back to join them on their wedding day.  We left home on a crisp cold February day to journey a few miles south to meet them for their wedding preparations at Redworth Hall and were surprised to find when we got there the thin layer of snow that had settled on the ground surrounding the hall when seemingly there was no snow at all anywhere else.  The scene was beautiful and magical.

The day was filled with energy, spirits were high and fun loving Lisa and Chris just shone in front of the camera.  Their wedding was an absolute joy to attend and wonderful to document.

Doxford Hall - Nicola and John

John proposed to Nicola in front of Cinderella's castle and so of course there was always going to be something romantic and magical about their wedding day.  The date was set for January, our first wedding of 2015.  It was bitingly cold, the kind of cold that causes your cheeks to glow red but the light was simply wonderful.  A gorgeous low golden sun for the entire day, a wedding photographers dream come true.  

Elegant Nicola looked simply breathtaking in her Justin Alexander wedding gown.  The classic cut gown with Sabrina neckline looked effortlessly stylish and suited her perfectly.  She chose a hand-tied wedding bouquet by Allison Janes and classic pearl jewellery to complete her look for the day.

A quiet word of love and encouragement from her father before walking her down the aisle became a memorable moment for Nicola and as her proud father gave her hand away no words needed to be spoken, John's admiration and appreciation for his beautiful bride was written right across his face. 

The day continued in the same way, stylish and elegant, informal emotional and fun.  Warm hearted and kind Nicola and John along with their family and friends filled the day with laughter and love.  It was a simply magical day and wonderful to be a part of.

Jorgensen Album - Kristen and Innes

A few weeks ago Kirsten and Innes came to collect their gorgeous Jorgensen of Australia wedding album.  The 12.5"x12.5" album is a classic, stylish and timeless presentation for wedding photographs, beautifully prepared and presented.  Kristen and Innes' Jorgensen wedding album features classically matted pages, ivory matts, an opening title aperture featuring their names, venue and wedding date, a padded cover with spine detail and bespoke designed and cut layouts.  Their classic genuine leather cover was selected in Polar and embossed with their names, all presented in a beautiful and hard wearing presentation box.
