Woodhill Hall - Joanne and Graeme

Joanne and Graeme’s wedding at Woodhill Hall was one of our first weddings of 2019, and what a way to kick start the year. They were married in an intimate ceremony at the parish church of St John the Evangelist in Otterburn, heading over to Woodhill Hall for their celebrations. We had an absolute blast with these two. Dispite the freezing cold conditions, the atmosphere throughout their day was amazing. Joanne and Graeme, a naturally fun loving couple, didn’t take their day too seriously, followed the natural flow of the day and had a lot of fun along the way.

The Yorkshire Wedding Barn - Becky and Matthew

As our last wedding of 2018, Becky and Matthew’s rose gold themed wedding at the Yorkshire Wedding Barn saw our year our in style. A fabulous couple, a stunning venue, and that dress! Becky’s Grace Loves Lace wedding gown could not have been more perfect for her.

South Causey Inn - Sophie and Dylan

Where to start with Sophie and Dylans’s wedding. Sophie is a photographer herself, which you may think would pile on the pressure, however not so. I had such fun discussing photo ideas with her before their wedding, and to make things easier for us all on the day, she made sure that she planned more than enough time for their couple shots, with time to spare.

They were married just around the corner from us, at the beautiful South Causey Barn, a few days before Christmas. It is a great venue with a relaxed, rural vibe which suited them perfectly. It was also great to see their gorgeous pooch Gus there with them on their wedding day too.

It was such a fun wedding to photograph, and with all of the extra fairy lights, we can home feeling very festive.

Ellingham Hall - Kirsty and James

Who could not love a wedding in October? Yes, true, you are playing a little game of chance when it comes to the weather, but the colours, the gorgeous hues of greens, reds, golds and browns as the trees begin to change, it fills my heart with joy to see them. On a (mostly) fine and bright day like Kirsty and James’ wedding at Ellingham Hall, October is a photographers dream come true.

Ellingham Hall in Northumberland is a dream venue to start with, the classical 1920’s styling, mature grounds and elegant exterior go a long way to impress anyone fortunate enough to visit, but what really made this day special was Kirsty and James themselves. Two kind souls, genuine and warm and it was clear to see where they got it from, their parents and families welcomed us in and made us feel very much a part of the family. We are beyond thankful to you all.
