A Wedding at Healey Barn - Alice and Andrew
Alice and Andrew’s June wedding was the perfect mix of relaxed countryside style and romantic moments. Both spent the morning getting ready at Derwent Manor Hotel, tucked away in separate rooms before heading over to Healey Barn for the ceremony. With soft muted light throughout the day, everything had a calm, natural feel that suited the atmosphere perfectly.
Alice wore a simple sleeveless A-line dress with a slit in the skirt, which worked beautifully with the informal style of the day. After the ceremony, everyone gathered in the courtyard at Healey Barn to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, drinks, and sunshine breaking through the clouds. One of our favourite moments came just before the evening celebrations started, with Alice and Andrew sharing photos together beside the champagne tower.
The evening finished with a packed dance floor and a lovely father-daughter dance following the first dance, which was such a special moment to photograph. Alice and Andrew’s wedding was relaxed, stylish, and full of genuine moments from start to finish.
A winter wedding at Healey Barn - Georgie and Matt
Georgie and Matt were our last wedding of the year, and what a way to end the year it was. They were married in the Church of St John, a small church located in the village of Healey, heading over to Healey Barn for their reception. Their wedding was elegant and chic, full of fun and we loved every moment of photographing it.

It’s no secret, Healey Barn has been one of our favourite wedding venues for many years. We love its countryside setting, the rustic vibe, the woodlands and the beautifully cared-for grounds. We found ourselves back at the stunning Healey Barn in Northumberland for Rebecca and Matthew’s wedding. I loved their pretty pastel colour theme along with their delicate florals which looked so good alongside the trailing roses that were growing in the venue’s courtyard. It was a fabulous day with a wonderful couple and it was a real pleasure to capture in photographs.
