2024 Wedding Photography
What a year it’s been! As we look back on 2024, we’re incredibly grateful for every couple who invited us to capture their special day, each one unique in its own way—some grand celebrations, others beautifully intimate, all filled with unforgettable moments.
We had the pleasure of working at a mix of familiar venues we love and a few new ones that quickly became favourites. From elegant indoor ceremonies to stunning outdoor vows under open skies, every wedding had its own magic. We’ve chased golden-hour light, braved the unpredictable British weather, and captured countless emotional first looks, laughter-filled speeches, and dance floors buzzing with energy.
This round-up is a celebration of every couple we photographed in 2024. It’s a collection of love stories, joyful moments, and the kind of memories that make wedding photography so special to us. As a husband-and-wife team, we know just how important these moments are, and we’re so honoured to have been part of them.
To all our couples—thank you for trusting us with your memories.
If you’re planning your wedding and are looking for natural, storytelling photography, we’d love to hear from you.
A Dalton Old Pump House wedding - Helen and Joe
Dalton Old Pump House is a really stunning and unique wedding venue based in the North East, boasting Victorian architecture, high ceilings and exposed brick walls. I love its cool industrial vibe, and the natural light that floods in from the huge windows grants us so many incredible opportunities for photographs.
Here are some of our favourite moments from Helen and Joe’s wedding at The Dalton Old Pump House.

Bamburgh - Hannah and Jack
We drove up the coast to Bamburgh for Hannah and Jack’s festival-style wedding. They were married in the beautiful St Aidan’s church, walking afterward to the next-door field where they had hired and pitched three large tipi‘s. I loved their attention to detail, with their homemade bunting and macrame decorations, personalised event wristbands, and street food vans. After a bit of celebrating, and a bit of food, we kicked off our shoes and took a walk on the beach, and considering their wedding was on a Saturday in the summer, we were so lucky to have a nearly empty beach, with of course those iconic views of Bamburgh Castle.

“We have just got back from our mini-moon and would just like to say thank you so much. We haven’t been able to stop talking about our day and how much we enjoyed it. You guys played a massive part in it. We absolutely love the pictures, thank you so much! “ - Hannah and Jack
Newton Hall - Emily and Kieran
Emily and Keiran were married on an unseasonally warm February day at Newton Hall in Northumberland. After all of the awful weather that we had been having, it made such a nice change to see the sun come out. After their ceremony, and a bit of a mingle with their guests, Emily and Keiran joined us for a walk around the grounds for a few pictures, along with a quick trip to the beach for a few more. It was a fabulous day with a fantastic couple.

“Thank you for doing such an amazing job with our photos, we love them so much. The email with our gallery came through while we were on a safari in Sri Lanka, so we had a cocktail overlooking the beach while looking through them. It was a moment we’ll never forget. Thank you again for being amazing on the day, we couldn’t have asked for anything more.” - Emily and Kieran.
Wynyard Hall - Laura and Jonathan
Laura and Jonathan's wedding day at Wynyard Hall turned out to be the last wedding that we would photograph before the UK locked down due to the Covid 19 pandemic. They were married only two days before the national lockdown was announced, but aside from the chatter about the pandemic, and more hand-washing than usual, it didn’t affect their day at all.
Laura got ready in the cottage within Wynyard Hall’s walled gardens, it was the first time that I had been inside the cottage, and I loved it. Not too big, not too small, cosy, and traditional. A lovely spot to get ready for a wedding. Nigel met the lads in the Wellington bar down in the Hall. Wynyard Hall is one of the only local venues that has its own consecrated chapel, and weddings in the chapel are always so beautiful. Laura looked stunning in her lace gown as she walked down the aisle to meet her groom. After a rather emotional ceremony, the newlyweds enjoyed drinks with their friends and family in the Statue Gallery.
Every year, around March to the beginning of April, Wynyard Hall’s grounds fill with thousands upon thousands of daffodils, which made for gorgeous pictures of the happy couple together, we took a walk around the grounds and took in the views of the lake before heading back inside for their meal and a few really fab speeches in the large conservatory. After the room was turned around, the party began. They cut their cake and hit the dancefloor. Everyone got up out of their seats and gave it their all, even the Nana’s and Grandad’s. It had been quite a while since we’ve seen such a full and enthusiastic dancefloor, and as it happens, we haven’t seen one since. I am so looking forward to seeing jam-packed dancefloors again, hopefully, it won’t be too long away now.
Healey Barn - Tanya and Mike
Stunning Tanya married Mike at Healey Barn near Riding Mill in the summer of last year. Dispite the grey weather, the day was glorious.
I started my day at the picturesque Lord Crewe Arms in Blanchland to photograph Tanya, her Mum, her bridesmaids and her and Mike’s three children as they got ready before travelling the short journey to Healey Barn to meet Nigel and the lads as the guests were arriving.
Dispite how incredible Tanya looked as she walked down the aisle towards Mike, she was very nearly outshone by her adorable children. Everyone turned to look and many eyes shed a happy tear or two as big brother very carefully pushed his little sister in a toy cart down the aisle acompanied by their brother who proudly displayed a sign saying ‘Here comes Mummy’ - it was one of the most adorable moments I have ever seen at a wedding.
Tanya and Mike are an amazing couple, full of life and energy, it is clear to see why they are together. We were delighted to be asked to photograph their gorgeous wedding day.
