Jamie and Ross chose to tie the knot last November. They were married in the Holy Trinity church in Washington Village heading over to the coast for their reception by the sea at the Roker Hotel in Sunderland. Here's the photograph's from their fab wedding day...
Horton Grange - Joanne and Liam
This weekend will see Nigel and I at Horton Grange photographing for Danielle and Daniel so while we get ready for the big event, I though it would be nice to take a look back to the last time we were there.
It had been some years since our previous visit to Horton Grange and so it was wonderful to revisit to capture Joanne and Liam's wedding day last October - to look at the place with new eyes and to be re-inspired by this lovely wedding venue.
Joanne and Liam chose to keep their wedding ceremony very intimate, with only their closet family and friends present with the rest of their loved ones joining them a little later for their wedding breakfast and evening party. The couple's portraits were very important to them so they gave us lots of time to photograph them together throughout the venue and grounds before we left them a little earlier than normal to party the night away. We loved every moment photographing for this great couple.
Here are a few from their day...
Matfen Hall - Rachel and Elliott
Rachel and Elliott chose to be married at the fabulous Matfen Hall last October. They travelled all the way from Surrey to say their vows surrounded by only their closest family and friends in the hall's impressive gothic great hall. Escorted by her mum, Rachel looked stunning as she made her grand entrance down the sweeping staircase in her Justin Alexander a lace fishtail wedding gown.
Their classical and timeless wedding day was a joy to attend and an honour to photograph. Here are a few on the images from their big day.
Wynyard Hall - Ashleigh and Jonathon
Ashleigh and Jonathon held their colourful wedding at Wynyard Hall last September. It was a day filled with fun and laughter, energy and love, and it was a joy to capture.
Ashleigh got ready at her parents home in Wynyard Village before heading over to meet Jonathon in the Brooks chapel at Wynyard Hall for their wedding ceremony. She looked dazzeling in her Amanda Wyatt wedding gown, finished off with a sprig of Gypsophila in her hair and the most colourful wedding shoes I have ever seen! Their fun and playful nature showed in their choice of colours for the wedding, each bridesmaid dressed in a different colour and each groomsman dressed to match with colourful cravats, pocket squares and even socks! Their amazing wedding cake was the creative end result from a collective of favourite disney characters, Rapunzel, Mickey and Minnie, Buzz lightyear and Darth Vader who all made an appearance.
After dinner, we all headed over to Wynyard Hall's beautiful walled gardens - a first visit for all of us. The beautifully manicured gardens felt calm and serene as the early evening began to draw in. It made a perfect spot for a few more pictures of the happy couple and a very relaxing way to spend a few minutes before the party kicked off.
