Laura and Andy chose to tie the knot at Lartington Hall near Barnard Castle last August. Their stunning ceremony in the hall’s chapel was followed by a relaxed drinks reception in the grounds and an elegant wedding breakfast with their nearest and dearest. It was a joy to spend the day with this wonderful couple.

Durham Castle - Victoria and Chris

Victoria looked stunning in her elegant, and very regal looking gown, holding in her hands a beautiful pear shaped bouquet that reminded me somewhat of Meghan’s. Of course it goes without saying, Chris looked smart as a dart too. Their sophisticated wedding day began with a traditional ceremony in St Cuthbert’s Church in Houghton Le Spring, going on to Durham Castle and down to Prebends bridge for a few photographs later in the day.

The Vermont - Laura and Stephen

It was great to spend a day back in May with the lovely Laura and Stephen, who tied the knot in the Cathedral Church of St Nicholas in the heart of Newcastle's busy city centre. Their stunning ceremony was followed by a luxurious and elegant wedding reception at one of our favourite wedding venues in Newcastle, The Vermont Hotel.

Tyneside Cinema - Philippa and Oliver

The Tyneside Cinema is a not-your-average, wow-your-guests kind of wedding venue.  Situated in the heart of the city of Newcastle, the Tyneside Cinema really is a Cinema, but they just happen to have a licence for wedding ceremonies too. When Philippa and Oliver got in touch to ask us to shoot their wedding, we were delighted and only too happy to oblige. They chose some seriously cools venues for their wedding day. Getting ready in the Malmaison Hotel in Newcastle, and after the ceremony going on to the Baltic with its stunning night time views of the river Tyne and the Millenium Bridge.

It was fantastic to be a part of this fab wedding day.
