Wynyard Hall in the Tees Valley was the perfect setting for Melissa and Matthew’s wedding day in July. Their day was filled with pretty details, elegance and style. The boys opted to wear smart navy suits for the occasion, while the girls chose a pretty coral shade, lace and coordinating florals. Their wedding ceremony in the Brooks Chapel within the Wynyard Hall estate was followed by a wedding breakfast in the hall's grand ballroom, heading over to the hall’s large conservatory for a bit of a dance!

True Jesus Church - Katie and Marco

Katie and Marco opted for a traditional Chinese wedding. Their formal ceremony took place in the True Jesus Church in Newcastle, afterwards heading over to Jesmond Dene for a few pictures with the waterfall. Later, their guests joined us back at the bride’s family home for the traditional tea ceremony, then on to the groom’s for the same. How Do You Do in South Shields was ideal for an informal evening do (sadly still no dancing allowed yet) to enjoy a few drinks with friends - and some cake of course!

South Causey Inn - Sophie and Gary

We 100% made the right decision choosing you both!! We’ve had so many comments since on what a good job you did. You made everyone feel so comfortable.”

Sophie and Gary chose the South Causey Inn in County Durham for their wedding day in July. The rustic charm of the Old Barn makes a great setting for a relaxed wedding with a fun vibe, and its setting in the countryside with a backdrop of rolling hills makes for great pictures. Sophie is a very talented landscape photographer, so there was no question when it came to making the most of the countryside location, we even made time for a trip to the nearby lake for a few pictures.

At the time, dancing inside was not permitted due to Covid restrictions, however, Sophie and Gary found a fab way of getting around the issue while keeping to the rules, and enjoyed their first dance, and a bit of a boogie with their friends outdoors just as the sun was beginning to set. It looked fabulous! Wouldn’t it be great if the idea caught on and outdoor first dances became a bit of a trend? What do you think?

Healey Barn - Madi and Dennis

“Oh my goodness!! These are absolutely amazing!! We love them so much. Thank you both so much, you’ve really captured the day.”

American bride, Madi and local lad, Dennis’ were married at Healey Barn at the end of June, and their wedding was another stunner that I just had to share with you. They were so much fun to work with, they had a real sense of adventure, and are so clearly completely in love. Madi and Dennis obviously had a great sense of style - the men looked dapper in their black tux’s, and Madi was a vision in her stunning vintage style wedding dress. They brought in a pop of colour into their day with the bridesmaid’s dresses who each were dressed in a different colour, along with the stunning florals in reds, blues, purples and greens.

Due to Covid restrictions at the time, they decided not to have an evening party, but they did share their first dance in front of their family and friends just before their wedding breakfast.
